Hello and welcome to my website; I’m glad you found me! My name is Garrick Ellis Nowak. I am a deep, creative, pragmatic-yet-critically-and-legally-informed thinker, writer, musician, and avid mindfulness practitioner. I earned my JD at the University of Arizona, where I was Senior Writing Fellow (2L & 3L); Leader in the Innovation for Justice program; and Articles Editor, Board Member, and Business Manager of the flagship Arizona Law Review. This blog is about attaining toward harmony [specifically not ‘balance’] in law school and beyond. I’ve overcome extraordinary challenges on my path to and through law school.
